Message: I am so thankful that I found Sher’s. These lady’s truly love what they do and go above and beyond. Their enthusiasm showed with every dress I tried on.. Sher’s was the fourth shop I went to during my dress shopping experience and I have to say, the other bridal stores made me feel rushed. I didn’t feel rushed at all at Sher’s, they encouraged me to take my time and to feel each dress out.. I also loved how relaxing the environment was. There was a wonderful, calming scent and calming music on when I first arrived, which really helped me get in a good head space.. Thank you so much again to Sher and her team for helping me find my perfect dress.

Message: Sher's was the second place I went to shop for my wedding dress. The experience was no comparison! Not only was the selection amazing the service was out of this world wonderful. My Mom bought her dress from here 38 years ago, which made it even more special when I found 'the one'. There is a reason this store has been in business for so long. I recommend this store to any and all brides wanting to feel like a princess while being treated like a queen when selecting the dress they are going to promise forever in.

Message: 1) You get a three hour appointment to try on dresses. No other store gives you that much time and attention. 2) They do in house alterations for a flat fee (3 fittings). 3) They are the most knowledgeable people about weddings in Louisville I've ever met. They've been giving me invaluable advice whenever I come into a fitting. 4) Sher is a fantastic seamstress with an amazing personality and 50 years of experience.. I can't explain how amazing Sher'. s bridal shop is. From the knowledable, kind and fun staff to the amazing selection of dresses. I came in for an appointment not knowing what to expect and walked out with my dream dress.. I also did NOT feel pressured to make a decision the first time. In fact I left and came back the next week (where they set aside another 3 hours for me) to try on the dress one more time before I made a decision.. When we had concerns about the number of alterations that needed to be done, the sales consultant brought in Sher - the owner of the shop - and she started pinning and assuring me that she could easily accomplish the needed alterations and showed us the more complicated projects she was working on at the time (she also referred to the bride's by name and knew there stories which indicates to me that she genuinely cares about each woman's experience).. I came in for my first fitting with entirely the wrong undergarments and Sher fixed everything and made me look amazing. That fitting was an amazing time where she gave me advice from her numerous years of experience. And my maid of honor found her dress there as well after an amazing shopping experience.. I can't reccomend Shers enough. I want her to come to my wedding! It's a fantastic experience and I would direct anyone there.. Do yourself a favor and go. After my experience at other bridal shops nothing else could compare to the experience, kindness and expertise you get at Sher's.

Message: If you think being a bride makes you a type A Picky Person, try being a MOB planning an only daughters wedding when you have “Perfectionist” as your middle name. Sher and her team treated both Bride and Mom with grace, warm friendship and the professional knowledge that only someone sustaining 46 years in the wedding industry business has the ability to do. From the first day in her shop, a yr before the wedding, to her help with dress cleaning and storage after the wedding, these ladies make you feel like you are the ONLY person their attention is on and want you to feel like the most elegant woman in the room on the special day of your event. OK, first unasked for advice. NO Bridal Shop anywhere is going to give you 3 hours of undivided attention when you book an appointment on a Saturday when every other bride in town is out dress shopping too. These ladies go above and beyond, but remember, they can only be with one of you at a time. and they want to give each of you their best help and attention. Saturdays are busy so if you want a bit more relaxed, one on one time. go for a weekday appointment. We visited several Bridal Boutiques before our first visit to Sher's, we had an idea of what the Bride was looking for and how atmosphere in each boutique ran. Bride and MOB are still convinced months after the wedding that there was not another shop in our Kentucky, Ohio area that gave to us the help, attention and expertise that this boutique did. We ended up not only purchasing the Wedding Dress from Sher but also the 4 bridesmaid dresses. All came in with much time to spare and with no problems for attendants in the local area or ones across the country. MOB Dress. I mention this only to show the high class of this shops kindness. MOB had to order a discontinued MOB dress from another shop. MOB so wanted to buy from Sher but found my size at another store. Sher Never, Ever made me feel like I did her a disservice by buying my MOB dress from someone else. She was thrilled that I found what I was hunting for and what made me feel good even after she had put in much time and effort hunting a MOB dress for me. If you are in the Louisville, Kentucky area this shop should definitely be on your list for Wedding Dress Shopping. If I had three more daughters, Sher would be my “go to” shop for Wedding attire with not a second thought. She loves what she does, loves her brides and does everything in her power to take loving care of them, great ingredients for a successful 46 year old business.

Message: I had the absolute best/easiest experience buying my wedding dress at Sher’s. Sher’s is the sweetest woman and listened to every detail that I wanted in my wedding dress and made it all happen. Best customer service I received from any vendor I used through my entire wedding planning process (and I had amazing vendors). After many happy tears and alterations at her shop, she surprised me on my wedding day at the Church I got married at and fluffed my dress before walking down the aisle. Words really cannot describe her kindness and I am so thankful for this boutique and this woman!

Message: I had the best experience at Sher’s. I mostly worked with Darlene and Sher and they were wonderful. They were so genuinely interested in me and all I wanted my wedding dress to be like. Sher is truly an artist! I had to have some extra lace worked into the top of my dress and she made it even more beautfiful than it was before. I highly recommend you choose Sher’s for your bridal experience!

Message: We have looked for my daughter's prom dress since Christmas break. We went to Lexington, Indianapolis and all over Louisville. We finally stopped at Sher's. We found her dress there. Their selection is great. Their pricing is competitive. Most of all, their customer service is great. The ladies went out of their way to help my daughter find the perfect dress. Their experience is priceless in making suggestions to girls who are so overwhelmed by the process. They were very accommodating about picking up the dress. I recommend Sher's to anyone looking for a prom dress. We will stop there first next year!
